Gardens

With a climate softened by the Gulf Stream, Scotland has a few surprises up its sleeve. The Royal Botanic Garden in Edinburgh is regarded as one of the world’s finest, while Benmore Garden in Argyll boasts 300 rhododendron species and a spectacular redwood avenue. In the grounds of Scone Palace, you will find a Douglas Fir raised from the original seed sent from America in 1826, and all around the country, the gardens of Scotland offer outstanding attractions.
