Following budget approval from a general meeting of the Full Council yesterday (6 December) tender documents have now been posted on the Public Contracts Scotland Portal for a 2 year contract Meet and Greet Service for the period 2012-13.

Caithness Distillery Produces “World Whisky of the year 2012”

Cruise season draws to an end at Greenock Ocean Terminal

The 2011 cruise season at Greenock Ocean Terminal has almost come to an end, bringing to a conclusion the most successful year on record at the Terminal. In total there will be 35 cruise calls this year, with two remaining calls from the luxury cruise vessel Hebridean Princess still to come in November. Over 57,000 visitors will have passed through the terminal by the end of this year, which represents a 192% increase in passenger numbers since 2007.
