The Seabourn Ovation arrives at the Port of Cromarty Firth, bringing to a close another record-breaking cruise season for 2019. More than 166,000 passengers and 69,000 crew came into the Port on 104 cruise ships, including nine inaugural calls.

Cruise Manager Allison McGuire said: “The increase in the number of cruise ships taking advantage of the deep water and incredible attractions we have to offer is really good news for businesses across the Highlands.”

Sandra Munro, who owns gift shop Tanstar Gifts in Invergordon, added: “Not only have the ships boosted revenue in the town, it’s also been lovely to meet so many nice people from around the world.”
