The golf courses of Scotland may be some of the country’s most famous attractions but they are only a part of our amazingly wide range of sport and leisure facilities.

The wonderful rivers and lochs, for example, offer the angler great sport, with some of the finest salmon fishing in the world on rivers such as the Tweed, the Tay, and the Spey. And ‘the great outdoors’ really is a rich source of activity-based leisure, with skiing in the winter on some of our mountain ranges, climbing and hillwalking throughout the year, mountain biking at a number of world-class centres (Fort William regularly hosts the World Mountain Bike Championships), cycling throughout the country on trails and coastal paths, and a range of water sports (sailing, canoeing, windsuring and more) on our rivers, lochs and around our coastline.

Scotland’s greatest asset is its beautiful natural heritage, and this provides a rich array of activities for your guests.
